About Dr. Maslow
Dr. Bat-Sheva Lerner Maslow is a double board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility specialist practicing in New Jersey.
Dr. Maslow has a passion for fertility education and a special interest in proactive fertility preservation for single women. She prides herself on providing complete, compassionate, and evidenced-based care to women and couples on their road to building a family. Dr. Maslow also lectures and writes on the intersection of Jewish life and reproduction, and is frequently called upon as an adviser for questions related to hilkhot niddah.

BA in History, magna cum laude, Barnard College (PS - Dr. Maslow was given the annual Thesis award for her Senior thesis on the role the Civil War played in acceptance of the Smallpox vaccine!).

Dr. Maslow has a special passion for fertility preservation (AKA "Egg Freezing"). She recognizes that women looking to freeze their eggs are unique from those who are trying to conceive and there is a particular vulnerability in recognizing that life hasn't gone exactly as planned. Dr. Maslow takes great pride in helping young single women proactively protect their potential for future families and set the groundwork to meet their reproductive goals when the time is right. Dr. Maslow loves witnessing her patients' transformation from vulnerable to empowered is particularly satisfying and has had the great pleasure in helping those who froze their eggs come back years later to start or grow their families.

Dr. Maslow is deeply committed to sharing accurate and empowering education about fertility and the reproductive system. She speaks frequently at corporate events dedicated to providing women and men the information needed to think proactively about their reproductive plans the way they would about their retirement accounts or career goals. Dr. Maslow has a masters in clinical research and has shared her research in multiple international journals as well as at national meetings. She also has an active social media presence sharing evidence based education and engaging followers in important discussions related to reproductive health.

Dr. Maslow is an expert in the intersection of Reproductive Medicine and Jewish Life. She recognizes the unique social perspectives for couples struggling with infertility in a community that is highly focussed on procreation. In addition, complex questions can arise related to the Jewish laws of "family purity" or hilkhot niddah. Dr. Maslow serves as a frequent resource for Rabbis on questions related to hilkhot niddah, she is also the Medical Director for the North American Yoetzet Halacha program and sits on the board of several organizations related to women and healthcare in the Jewish community.
